protection. As an inexperienced driver, driving to places via spontaneous instruction from my family was quite scary. I am not confident in my driving ability, so even though where we went (some Cupertino plaza & IKEA) was not new, driving there was   a bit stressful for me.

my brother, who is an UC Davis alumni. He’s always hung out with me whenever we got out as a family because we’re both bored while our parents are distracted by something. And being with him and occasionally talking about something we have a common interest in makes the day bearable. And since I’m also planning on attending UC Davis, his knowledge is invaluable. He’s really helped me a lot and is also awake late into the night to help me when I have last minute problems/favors, like today with my Aggie card photo ID. I’m late, but nothing will happen if I stress about it. Mind as well be … positive and hope for the best? (I don’t think being optimistic can be applied here yet…)

not having our car broken into because I left the iPhone in the car in plain sight. At last I remembered and immediately went back to the car to get it.
